Ming River

Ming River is the original Sichuan Baijiu. Using traditional methods passed down from master to apprentice for over twenty generations, Ming River is an authentic and uncompromising Chinese grain spirit inspired by some world famous spirits. The journey to Ming River Baijiu begins in the heart of Sichuan at China's oldest operating distillery, Luzhou Laojiao.

Each batch of Baijiu is fermented in earthen pits with locally harvested yeast cultures for two months before it is distilled in a traditional Chinese pot still. The spirit then ages for up to two years before our master blender along with world-renowned spirit experts balance the Baijiu to achieve Ming River's exceptional flavor, which preserves and uplifts the distinct flavor of tropical fruit (pineapple, papaya) of Luzhou Laojiao and complex notes of exotic spices. It can be enjoyed straight and even better suited for cocktails. As a brand new spirit with well recognized quality and creativity, Ming River was rewarded the Gold medal of San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2019 and Double Gold medal of International Spirits Challenge 2020.
