A highlight of this year's event was the debut of the "Ben Heng Jiao Zun" Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Cup. The trophy was handcrafted by Master Mu Binglin, a national inheritor of the Bai ethnic silverware forging technique from Heqing, Yunnan. One side of this trophy embodies the artisan spirit behind Luzhou Laojiao's "traditional brewing techniques" that have been passed down for more than 700 years, and the other side encapsulates the essence of the millennia-old "Bai ethnic silverware forging technique", making it a tangible "living intangible cultural heritage museum". The trophy will be passed on to each subsequent champion, becoming an enduring spiritual symbol of WCGC China.
